DJI launches new drone in Phantom 4 series – the Phantom 4 Advanced

DJI’s range of drones has been steadily growing through the years, with their latest series of Phantom 4 drones and the very popular DJI Mavic Pro. Now, the company has announced a new addition to their drones, the Phantom 4 Advanced, which comes with a number of cool features that are present in the last year’s Phantom 4 Pro.

The new Phantom drone comes with a 1-inch, 20MP sensor capable of recording in 4K at 60 fps, along with some spectacular automatic flight modes for ease of flying. Additionally, it has better and bigger internal storage of up to 128GB using a microSD as well as a battery life of around 30 minutes.

This model will be offered at a reduced price as compared to the other DJI drones, so it isn’t as good of a match as the Phantom 4 Pro since it is only equipped with front facing obstacle avoidance and not on all four sides.

The DJI Phantom 4 Advanced also can be purchased as a Plus variant, which is sold with a controller that has a 5.5-inch 1080p screen built in it.  The normal Advance version can be bought for $1,349, while the Phantom 4 Advanced Plus will come for $1,649.

Unfortunately, with the release of this new drone on April 30th, DJI will discontinue their earlier model, The Phantom 4.
