Gopro HERO4 Session – Gopro’s Smallest Camera Yet

GoPro has recently announced the newest addition to their range of action cameras, called the GoPro HERO4 Session.
Very different from their usual rectangular shaped cameras, this cube design sporting GoPro HERO4 Session is touted to be 50% smaller and 40% lighter than its predecessors. This also marks the first redesign of GoPro cameras in the past 9 years!
Design and shape wise, the first thing that comes to mind are other cube shaped cameras like the Polaroid Cube+ or the Podo camera, but that is where the comparison stops.
The GoPro HERO4 Session is waterproof down to 33 feet on its own so you will not require a separate housing when using it for water related activities. It uses a built-in battery that provides users with 2 hours of shooting on a single charge and can be charged using a USB cable.
Using the camera is fairly simple as it features a one-button control for taking pictures and videos. Just pressing the shutter button will activate the camera and start video recording, whereas a long press will start Time-Lapse photo capture. And another press of the button will shut the camera down.
You can also make more adjustments and change settings for taking better pictures and videos by simply pairing the camera with the GoPro App or Smart Remote.
The camera can take still pictures in 8 MP modes like single, burst, and time-lapse, and capture videos in 1080p at 60 fps, 720p at 100fps, 1440p at 30 fps. It is also equipped with Wi-Fi, Auto Low Light, dual microphone system, Bluetooth, and SuperView.
The GoPro HERO4 Session will be available to buy starting 12th July all around the world and it will sell for $399.
