The Autel Robotics X-Star Premium drone is a high-level aerial machine, equipped with amazing features in an easy-to-fly body. It has been created for outstanding aerial imagery and features an intelligent flight control system with autopilot functions.
Camera and gimbal
The drone has an integrated 3-axis stabilized gimbal with a 4K camera attached, which can record Ultra HD videos or capture 12 MP pictures. With its 108 degree FOV, it provides a wide-angle perspective, bright color, striking clarity.
Videos can be recorded in 4K at 30 fps, 2.7K at 60 fps, 1080p at 120 fps and 720p at 240. Along with the gimbal, users can get stable and smooth video footage without any shaky movements. Both the camera and gimbal are also detachable for easy replacement or upgrading.
Remote Controller
The Autel Robotics X-Star Premium drone has an easy to use remote controller that features command sticks that give max grip and allow for swift movements. The function keys play an important role by activating aircraft flight-assist modes when needed.
Users can conveniently clamp their smartphone or tablet to view what the drone records live, and this will also help them view and gauge important flight information on the screen.
Flight features
The drone is equipped with Dual GPS and GLONASS navigation capabilities for solid positioning even when there is a low signal. It also has features like ‘Follow’, ‘Orbit’ or ‘Waypoints’, which allow users to control the camera and get the desired pictures.
It has a Starpoint Positioning System that measures the height at which the drone is flying and optically tracks position to allow it to fly accurately at low altitudes. Fliers can even enable Beginner Mode to make a geo-fence that confines drone’s range and flying speed.
Starlink App
The drone can also be monitored using the compatible Starlink App, with which users can change camera settings, as well as flight control settings to your liking.
There is another useful feature called the Smart Pre-flight Check that lets the flier run a pre-flight check to determine whether every aspect of the drone is safe and ready for flying.
The app will also allow users to view the live HD video feed from the drone’s 4K camera even from afar!
