Parrot’s BeBop drone is a Wi-Fi-based, mobile device operated RC aircraft that can record 1080p aerial videos and take 14MP pictures. Its amazing camera evades the extra weight and power consumption of a motorized gimbal and has an electronic image stabilization system that works with a 3-axis motion sensor and a 180° fisheye lens.

This drone can be easily controlled using an Android or iOS mobile device that has the FreeFlight 3 App on it. This app will also show you real-time preview from the flight camera, and also let you record a low-resolution feed directly on your phone or tablet. If you want to record high-resolution videos, you can do so using the 8GB of built-in memory, or by connecting a USB storage device. The BeBop Drone can be controlled from up to 1.2 miles away and includes antennas for both 2.4 and 5 GHz.

The package comes with 2 outdoor hulls as well as an indoor hull, which is comprised of detachable EPP prop guards. By using the outdoor hull, you can reduce the flight weight and make the quadcopter more aerodynamic.

The BeBop Drone uses a 1200mAh lithium-polymer (LiPo) battery, which can provide approximately 12 minutes of flying time. 2 batteries and a charger are included with the drone.

Built from impact-resistant ABS plastic, this drone is extreme sturdy. The propellers are created in a way that they stop automatically on contact and start the Emergency Mode, which causes the drone to land instantly. It even has a built-in GPS receiver with a Return Home feature that causes autopilot to engage, flying the BeBop Drone back to the takeoff point.

The BeBop Drone uses Multi-sensor Flight Stability System to ensure stability, based on several sensors like a 3-axes accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, ultrasound, and pressure sensor as well as a vertical camera to track the speed.
