Flying features

It has been made from a lightweight carbon fiber frame, and features retractable landing gear, foldable arms and a 5-Motor failsafe mode that makes it a great choice for professional users. It uses 3 rechargeable batteries that give users a flight time of about 25 minutes dependent on the payload.

The Tornado H920 also has many smart features that make it safer and easier to fly. These include automatic landing, return-to-home, and 5-rotor flight safety. Its GPS capabilities are also great and help with pressure sensor lock altitude and compass orientation.

It uses a ST24 personal ground station, which is a 24-channel all-in-one transmitter. The controller works on an Android operating system and is equipped with a 7-inch touchscreen that shows telemetry data, as well as a built-in flight simulator.

Camera and gimbal

The Tornado H920 can be used with a variety of high-end cameras, including their own CGO4 gimbal camera, which has been specifically created for this hexacopter. The CGO4 uses a true Panasonic GH4 micro four-thirds camera sensor and has a 3x optical zoom lens, and a combined 5.8 GHz video link module, housed on the ultra-stable 3-axis gimbal that enhances stabilization.

The Tornado H920 can also be use with the company’s V18 professional gimbal stabilized camera that features 18X optical zoom, or with the Panasonic GH4 and Sony A7Rii, by making use of the 360-degree panorama capable GB603 gimbal.
