The 3D Robotics Iris+ Quadcopter is a great new drone for all flying enthusiasts and especially for filmmakers. It features a 2-axis gimbal, integrated LEDs and a flexible payload capacity (up to 8 pounds) that provides hassle-free directional alertness.

It can be programmed to fly manually by using its included controller, or even use its 3PV Follow Me mode that lets the drone take pictures and footage of you. All you have to do is plan your flight route and the iris+ will follow the orders!

The Iris+ is supposed to have a flying time of around 16-22 minutes and it fluctuates depending on its payload, wind, etc. it also features flight protection and automatic mission planning that will let the drone land automatically. So once you set a route for the drone, you can carry on with other things while the drone captures beautiful footage.

3D Robotics is selling the Iris+ quadcopter in 2 frequencies – 915 MHz and 433 MHz. Apart from this, there are quite a few add-ons for you to choose from.
