Deepest Indoor Pool Is 130 Foot Deep!

Recently opened, the Y-40 is the deepest pool in the world. It is a 130 foot indoor swimming pool, structured underneath the compound of the Four Star Hotel Terme Millepini in Italy's Euganean Hills.

The pool allows for multiple activities and not just swimming

So, what did the designers have in mind when they created this 152,000-cubic foot, frighteningly deep indoor pool?

This pool has been designed to house a number of different activities throughout the year. Activities like scuba diving training, deep water diving or hosting photo shoots, are all possible here.

In fact, the pool isn’t just a long tube, it is tiered with different portions and caves that allow you to carry on your activities without being interrupted by other swimmers.

But if you don’t swim or are terrified of the depth of this pool, there is a glass tunnel and also windows that will let you have a look at people in the pool.
