The GDU O2 Plus Drone has been created as a direct competitor to the DJI Mavic Pro Drone, which is currently one of the top drones in the industry. With its portability, high resolutions, advanced sensors and easy operations, this GDU Drone comes with a lot of similar features.

Design

This drone has been built for portability and ease of use and so comes with a sleek and light design. Created using Aviation Aluminum-Alloy, this small and portable drone is also very tough and comes with robust propeller arms for longer use.

A great feature of the drone is its ability to fold that allows users to take it along with them. This compact design provides a secure way to keep the drone when traveling and users don’t need to worry about parts breaking. When folded, the propellers along with the sliding arms hide inside the body and no parts are sticking out.

The drone uses the world’s smallest 3-axis stabilized camera gimbal that has the ability to record in 4k resolutions. The powerful gimbal lets users take creative and stable videos and pictures. All video resolutions include –

  • 4K: 3840x2160 @ 25/30 fps
  • 1080P: 1920x1080 @ 60/30 fps
  • 720P: 1280x720 @ 60/30 fps

It uses a 1/3 Inch CMOS sensor and takes pictures in 13MP. It has an FOV 79.8° lens with equivalent focal length 25.5mm F2.2.

Smart features

The GDU O2 Drone is equipped with an onboard Qualcomm SnapDragon processor that provides an intelligent and powerful drone. It is also equipped with forward and downward vision positioning systems that provide a stable flight, inside or outside.

Its Binocular Obstacle Avoidance System helps the drone avoid objects in its path and not crash into things. The drone recognizes objects so you don’t have to manually maneuver around them, allowing fliers to focus on the shots while the drone handles the flying.

It also comes equipped with a built in memory of 32GB to store media, as well as GPS and GLONASS.
