The Halo Drone by the makers of Halo Board is a new entrant in the drone and quadcopter market that promises great video recording capabilities along with a decently long flight time. There is also an advanced version of the drone available, the Halo Drone Pro, which comes with more flight features.

This drone too aims to be portable like the DJI Mavic Pro and comes with foldable arms that allow for safe traveling with it. The foldable design also doesn’t let the drone’s delicate parts break or get damaged.

As for the camera and video specifications, the Halo Drone comes with a lens that has 115° F/2.4 FOV. With its 3-Axis Gimbal, the drone can take smoother videos and pictures, with lesser shakiness. It has the ability to record in:

  • 4K: 3840×2160 - 30p
  • 1440p: 2560×1440 - 60p
  • FHD: 1920×1080 - 60p
  • HD: 1280x720 - 120p

The drone itself weighs 1370g along with the battery and has a size of 430mm diagonally. It has a maximum speed of 45 Mph, with a flight time of up to 22 minutes.

It can be controlled using a remote controller with an Operation Frequency of 2.4 Ghz + 5.8 Ghz. It features a range of 1000m and can provide video transmission of up to 800 M Low Latency (<200ms).

The Halo drone comes with special flight features like Return to Home and Auto Lift Off/Land for easier flying options.
