Canon PowerShot S120

The Canon PowerShot S120 is a great for point and shoot recording, and makes for a great cheaper alternative to the well-known Canon PowerShot G7 X Digital Camera. While it does not feature the same flip out screen, it does have some similar important features.

The camera has a 12.1 MP high-sensitivity 1/1.7-inch CMOS sensor, along with Canon’s DIGIC 6 image processor, which provides brilliant low-light performance with an ISO range of 80-12800. It also uses a bright f/1.8 lens that has 5x optical zoom and a 24mm wide-angle view.

Users can also record beautiful 1080p full HD videos in stereo sound, using the dedicated movie button. They will have the option of zooming while shooting and also play back videos on an HDTV using the HDMI output. Due to the added built-in Wi-Fi capabilities, you can even easily transfer the media and upload it to social media websites. The free iOS and Android Canon Camera Window application also helps with easy uploading.

It also has other features like Full Resolution Continuous Shooting and High Speed AF, Hybrid Auto function, intelligent IS that automatically chooses from modes, and capacitive 3.0-inch touch panel LCD. It has a number of modes to choose from, such as High Dynamic Range Scene Mode with new sub-modes, new star shooting modes and background Defocus mode.
