GDU (ProDrone) Byrd Premium 1.0 Drone

The GDU (ProDrone) Byrd Premium 1.0 is a great new quadcopter, which features folding propeller arms, interchangeable camera gimbals, and up to 29 minutes of flight time!

One of the main features of this ProDrone Byrd is its ability to be folded into a smaller size for easier storage and portability. The components once folded make the drone turn into a rectangular object, almost as big as an iPad making it easy to fit and carry in backpacks.

The drone features a 14.8V 6700mAh 99.4Wh large capacity lithium battery, which can reach up to 29 minutes of flight on a full charge. It can carry around 2kg of load weight, and has a maximum takeoff weight of 3.8kg without hindering its flying features.

The drone comes equipped with a 12MP camera and a F/2.8 leans with a distortion of <27%. It can record videos in the following resolutions:

• 4K: 24/25/30 fps
• 1080p: 25/30/50/60 fps
• 960p: 25/30/48/50/60 fps
• 720p: 25/30/50/60/100/120 fps

The Byrd Premium 1.0 allows users to switch gimbals so users have the options for add ons like the GoPro Gimbal and Infrared Camera, plus any future add ons released by the company.

It has a control distance of 2000m outside with no interference, and a data transmission distance of about 1000m in HD 720P at 30fps. It also comes with an Integrated GPS module and GLONASS Positioning feature that lets it follow preplanned flight patterns. So, users can make it circle around a particular point without the need to manually control it.

The Byrd Premium 1.0 Drones also has features like Return to Home, which makes it go back to its original takeoff point, as well as a Follow Me feature that makes the drone follow the user till they are in the smartphone’s signal range. The video that the drone is recording can be viewed on up to 3 different screens at the same time, as well.

The drone is easy to fly and has level 5 wind resistance for convenient flying outside. And has a maximum speed of 15 m/s. It has been created using high quality materials that have been tested for high temperatures and has a resistance of 40 degree Celsius temperature and humidity of 95%. The propellers come with a double protection design and the drone has also been tested for maximum endurance.
