PRODRONE PD6B Drone

The PRODRONE PD6B Drone has been created as a large model drone that has the ability to carry a maximum payload of 30 kg, allowing users to mount even heavy-duty cameras and gimbals for professional photography and videography. Even though the size of the drone is bigger, it provides amazing stability, which is just like using a tripod.

It features a six-rotor system and has the largest payload of 30kg in Prodrone’s line of aerial machines, making it great for industrial uses as well as film and TV production.

With an airframe weight of 11kg, the wind cannot deter its flight or make it lose control, which is a problem with most small drones. This provides more stability when shooting and the large size also makes it adaptable to business applications like carrier and delivery duty.

The drone has customizable options and comes in 2 variants. The Aerial Photography Variant specifically features the best mounts for adding cameras and gimbals for movie, commercial or TV location shooting. While, the Winch Variant comes along with an attached winch, allowing you to pick up a payload from areas that are difficult to reach, or deliver by lowering the payload down even if there isn’t any landing site.

The PRODRONE PD6B Drone is powered using a 44.4 V 16,000 mAh to 20,000 mAh battery that gives it enough juice to provide a flight time of around 10 to 30 minutes depending on the battery and the payload.

It can fly at a maximum speed of 60 km/h and at a maximum operating altitude (pressure altitude) of 5,000m. It features a maximum operating wind speed of 10 m/s and the control unit for the drone can even be customized depending on the users’ requirements. This is also the only Prodrone drone model that isn’t water resistance.
