Ricoh  WG-30W can be submerged in water till a depth of 12 meters (39 ft). It is 16-MP and is shockproof from sudden falls till 1.5 meters (4.9 ft) and freeze proof down till -10ºC (14ºF). It also has Full HD 1080p video capturing, a back illuminated CMOS image sensor, a "newly designed imaging engine," light sensitivity till ISO 6400, triple anti-shake protection and 6 small LEDs for brightening macro shots.

The camera features makes a good alternative for Gopro that is also cheaper, and has 12 built in digital filters, face detection, pet detection and a Smile Capture function that waits until the person being pictured smiles. It also has the ability to connect with the user's smartphone using Wi-Fi. This will let you take pictures or alter camera settings with the use of your phone, along with reviewing and sharing footage and pictures.
