With the immense success that SJCAM SJ4000 garnered back in 2014, the company has now released a new a new action camera called the SJ4000+ Plus Wi-Fi. The confusing naming order aside (they released SJ5000+ first!), this new camera is touted to be the best yet from SJCAM because not only does it have all the great features of the SJ4000 but will also support 2K recording.

This 2K version has a significant upgrade when it comes to recording because it also comes with the newest resolution of 30 fps. This will provide better graphical results and clearer and sharper videos and pictures. The combination of a 12 MP camera with Omnivision (OV4689) and Novatek 96660 sensor chip, provides great results. You can also record in other formats – 1080P at 60 fps and 30 fps, and 720P at 120 fps.

Other major features are the same as its predecessor, making this new camera ideal for mounting on a bike, car or taking on an adventure when hiking or swimming underwater. At 63 grams and waterproof till 30 meters, this camera makes recording all sports a possibility!

It features a 3.7V 900mAh li-ion rechargeable battery that is removable and can be replaced. It can be charged using a USB cabled connection to a laptop or computer, or wall socket. When recording at

1080P, the camera will work for up to 80 minutes on a complete single charge.

The camera is equipped with a 1.5-inch TFT screen at the back for you to review what you are recording, and footage can be shared via Wi-Fi. It supports storage cards up to 32GB which are Micro SD Card Class 4 and above. It also supports HDMI HD output function as well as AV out while recording with certain USB-to-AV cable.

A great feature of this camera is that you can record while you charge it (with power bank as well) making it convenient to use. It has the ability take 3 pictures per second and features a 170 A + HD wide-angle that lets you take spectacular pictures.
