Swellpro Releases New Waterproof Drone At CES 2017 - Freefly Pro FPV Drone

The creators of the Splash Drone, Swellpro, made their first attendance at CES 2017 in Las Vegas this year and have released a new waterproof drone called the Freefly Pro.

Freefly Pro is a small quadcopter that is fully waterproof and comes along with a waterproof RC transmitter as well. A 4K camera that has the ability to tilt and features EIS has been built into the body to provide amazing shots.

Users have the option to view what they are recording using the built-in monitor or additional FPV goggles that provide a non-delay live video feedback. With double GPS tracking, the drone is also capable of follow me filming and other such autonomous features.

The Freefly Pro measures 270mm and can fly at top speed of 100km/h, as well as hover for 15 minutes. A unique feature of the drone is its eye-catching, compact and bionic design that provides optimal aerodynamics.

Company CEO Eric Hu has claimed that the drone has been designed for enthusiasts who like to record videos around water bodies, and its waterproof features are very efficient. While the price has not been disclosed yet, he did say that the finished model will be released on Indiegogo around February.

In other product releases, Swellpro showcased a new version of the Splash Drone Auto that features a GPS top cover and an enhanced waterproof gimbal. A new version of the Splash Drone Fisherman was also revealed, and it can now carry an electronic payload release.
