XIAOMI Mi Drone 1080P WIFI FPV Quadcopter

The newly released XIAOMI Mi Drone 1080P WIFI FPV Quadcopter has been launched to give competition to DJI drones and that too at a lower price. It provides a more cost-efficient way of shooting aerial photography and videography, satisfying the needs of both clear image and long FPV distance.

Along with a beautiful body and a stunning design, the drone is extremely modular as the camera, gimbal, rotors and feet are all detachable. This means that in the event of a crash or damage to a certain part, changing it will be very easy. All the detachable pieces also mean that transporting the drone in a smaller space will be possible.

Camera

The drone is equipped with a High Definition 1080P camera that can record videos in maximum resolutions of 1920 x 1080p at 60fps. Its Sony 12 MP vision sensor, as well as 6 sets of professional glass lenses, 2 sets of aspheric lenses and 1 BLF all combine to provide the best images.

Real-time transmission

But not just recording, users can also watch what is being captured with Real-time Transmission. The convenient controller provided with the drone features a built-in phone slot and a special PCB antenna that facilitates Wi-Fi FPV function. Also, its superior long control distance of 3km ensures great performance and connectivity even when the drone is far due to its 2.4GHz high anti-interference performance and powerful signal.

The drone is equipped with a PCB antenna that amplifies the signal so it can be controlled till 1km.

Flying features

The 3 Axis Gimbal supports stable and accurate photography and recording and the result isn’t shaky or blurry, like with many drones. Brushless Motor gives the drone a powerful performance and fliers can execute a number of stunts and functions. The drone can be flown forward and backward, turn left and right, up and down.

It can also be made to hover at a particular spot using its camera system and offers One Key Landing, One Key Taking Off and One Key Automatic Return for a very convenient flight experience.

The Mi Drone makes use of GPS and GLONASS for positioning, and features a visual positioning system that provides a stable flight at low altitudes and in places it doesn’t have a satellite signal.

Battery

When it comes to the battery, the XIAOMI Mi Drone 1080P WIFI FPV Quadcopter uses a 17.4V 5100mAh battery that provides about 27mins of flying time on a complete charge and it take the battery to completely charge in about 3.5 hours. 

Flight modes

Pointing Flight or Tap to Fly will make your drone fly to where you point on the route map, while Surrounded Flight allows users to record or photograph 360 degrees around the subject of your choice. Another feature is Route Planning that allows you to pre-plan your drone’s flying route, giving you a smoother and easier flight. The drone also features real-time electric quantity monitoring and low-voltage return warning.
